I worked as the graphic designer for a 5 part period drama for BBC2 called "Dancing on the Edge". Set in 1920's, it was about a black jazz band. This was a very graphics heavy based job, as the major set was located in a music Magazine studio.  The director Steven Polakoi was keen on detail and historical accuracy. I visited the Jazz archives, and immersed myself in the story, so many of the articles and newspaper features could withstand a close-up, as all content would be relevant to the film.
